Did you see the episode where a girl from Asia was supposedly visiting her boyfriend, but it turned out she was planning to stay in Canada and not return? Once her boyfriend agreed to file paperwork to sponsor her they let her in to stay anyway. Somehow I don't think that would have ended the same way if she had been entering the USA instead of Canada. I was pretty surprised!

yeah, I have first hand knowledge of that. :P they did not let me in and banned me for a year
