tourist or X (entry) visa?

I am a USC of indian origin planning to go to india to get married (will be in India for ~2 weeks)... should I get a tourist or X visa?

The X visa seems to only lift the restriction of reentering india within 2 months which doesn't really matter to me..

I say get the X visa - India needs your visa fees.

You can go ahead to apply for 6 months tourist visitor ( Single Entry ). Or you can apply for OCI card ( Lifetime visa for India with no condition ).

Hi. I just wanted to let you know that there is no longer a 2 month gap that you have to wait to go back in the country, they just changed that in November 2012, no more restrictions.
