I think we should all call USCIS and NVC and say this :

"Happy Valentines day, please note that I can't be with my loved one because your process is too long and very frustrating"

Thought I was prepared, but just noticed something and need some advise quick. I-130 applied in Married name but sent her current passport with maiden name. NOA2 has approved her Married name. AOS and choice of agent came in her Maiden name?? What did I miss in all the reading on here, I thought I could bring the new passport at time of interview, I feel I just really messed up somewhere, HELP please!!!

I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as it's spelled correctly. I believe the final name on the green card will the same as the one on the passport. So, if she wants the green card to come in her married name, she's going to need to get a new passport.

I don't know for Ghana. I know awhile ago it was taking almost a year from case complete date to interview date. You need to do your own research here: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?cfl=0&op1=3&op2=d&op3=5&op4=1&op5=5,6,8,10,11,13,14,15,16,17,18,20,21,22,25,26,27,28,108,110,111,208,210,211&op6=All&op7=Ghana&dfile=No&adv= Looks like it's gone way down though just from a rough search.

No saylin lol my Ds 3032 was having trouble getting accepted, so I took your advice you gave someone previously and it worked good looking out. Maybe they are just backed up....And thanks for directing me to recent Ghana interview timelines  you're a blessing

When you received your NOA2, was there an error on it about the spouse being in the US and adjusting status? Unfortunately, mistakes happen and I've seen those going for an IR-1/CR-1 visa and then get a NOA2 saying they were approved, but had a note written about them adjusting status from within the US (even though they clearly weren't).
