There was nothing attached to the original 2 emails sent, that were subsequently denied. The template was filled out correctly and sent as it should, might have my wife forward me what she sent so I can go over it but I trust she did it correctly.

We ended up having to print, sign, scan, and email the 3032 form they sent us and we are currently awaiting a response to see if they have a problem with it.

Weird.... I have no idea then as I've never, NEVER seen anyone get denied for that reason. What are those officers doing headbonk.gif

When you attached the form and sent that email, did you use the same subject line from post 2?

Oops my bad. See I am confused most times too. Thanks for straightening me out Saylin.

That's alright ;) Gotta make mistakes to learn!

hi

i got this reply today ,does this mean it was accepted?

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the

immigrant visa petition: xxxxxxx filed by xxxxxxx on

behalf of xxxxxxx.

We received the principal applicant's DS-3032 (Choice of Address and

Agent) form designating an address and agent. Instructions for paying

the immigrant visa application processing fee and all future

correspondence will be sent to the agent at the address selected on the

DS-3032.

For more information regarding the immigrant visa application fee or for

answers to frequently asked questions, please visit the following

website:

That sounds like an acceptance to me ;)

When we sent the signed form we just replied to their reply and left the heading as is.

It was accepted today as well, so we are just waiting to be billed for the 230 packet.

Dear "my name"

The immigrant visa petition filed on behalf of "my wife's name" has become eligible for further

processing at the National Visa Center (NVC). Our records show that the current address of the principal

applicant is:

Before your petition can be processed you must pay the Affidavit of Support (AOS) processing fee

this case. An AOS fee invoice is also sent to any registered attorney. Do not pay the AOS fee twice.

To make the payment please visits "website"

First off, NVC replies to your DS-3032 email, they don't send a new email for the DS-3032 acceptance (so I've heard). Second, the AOS fee has NOTHING to do with the DS-3032. Thus, this is not the DS-3032 acceptance. Read a few posts above, someone posted what the DS-3032 email acceptance looks like.

OK, the checklist e-mail just popped up in my inbox. It says, "The NVC has reviewed the financial evidence submitted. However, additional information is

required to complete the financial evidence review. Please provide all requested documents and refer to page two for mailing instructions," then notes that we did not provide proof of our co-sponsor's citizenship. I think this means that our AOS package is all good except for this?

Follow up question: If we send scans of my mother (co-sponsor's) passport as proof of her citizenship, will my husband have to provide the real thing at his interview? I'm thinking no, but if we do have to provide originals then maybe it would be better to scan a certified copy of her birth certificate and then he can "borrow" that for his interview?

Finally, I sorted out what the photograph confusion was all about. Just below the "your I-864 was reviewed but there are missing things" message was this:

So I think it's just a heads-up from NVC that the first operator I spoke to this morning mis-read. We scanned the photos anyway and submitted them in the IV package, but maybe we didn't have to as long as he brings them to his interview?

I don't know about the AOS item in terms of bringing originals to the interview but I believe it is better to be safe about it so the birth certificate is probably a better option.

As for the photos, both my sons got the same item on their checklist. It just means to bring actual photos to the interview.

I'm going to assume that if something's wrong, they'll tell you then and there. I was never told anything about my medical results either when I picked up my results a few days later. I just told myself that if there was a problem, they would have told me.

Well, being self-employed means no employment letter nor pay stubs. One shows proof of income through tax returns.

As for the I-864, it depends if you filed a 1040 or a 1040EZ:

1040 = total income

1040EZ = adjusted gross income

Ah, I see. I just assumed we join the Monthly thread depending on when it was transfered lol

So happy to be joining everyone on their NVC journey :)

Just a lot easier if everyone migrates over as we're all going through the NVC process together. This way, we can help each other out, as well as motivate and encourage others :)
