Trust me, if I could do this, I would. The structure of the timelines (for IR-1/CR-1 at least) needs to be re-done

hypothetically, If the sponsor loses or quits his/her job before the NVC stage, does that mean he/she no longer qualifies as sponsor? although when employed made twice above the poverty guidlines?! if one goes on unemployment does that qualify as current income?

Yes, it means you're no longer qualified because you need to show CURRENT income.

You would have no pay stubs.

I highly doubt unemployment counts as it's a temporary income.

ok so i am filing for my husband from belize but i live in belize with him. i haven't received anything from NVC yet just got my NOA2 last week. you say once we have a case number than we can give them our email and correspond with them like that. but belize is not in the eligible list for electronic processing. so we can just do the ds-3032 through email and the others snail mail?

When you give email addresses to NVC, it's them that CORRESPONDS with YOU, not the other way around (unless you're doing EP). So, by giving email addresses, NVC can email your case numbers, they can email you when you're invoiced, they can email you package information, they can email you checklists, they can email you your interview date, etc etc. This does NOT mean that you can email them packages or checklist responses.

The ONLY thing you can email to NVC is the DS-3032.

So happy to be in here now and we are ready!! We got our NOA2, dated 01/12/2013, so my husband will start ringing NVC next Monday. I have read all the links here over and over again, but may still pop back in here for reassurance, we want this stage to go smoothly after our RFE at USCIS local office. My husband has his I-864 ready with all his documents, and I have already given him everything for the IV package.
