Hey all...okay so the AOS is mailed off...so do I just call them to find out if they got it or do I wait for an email? In other words how do I know if it's been accepted? thanks again!

its usually takes 7 to 14 days to receive, input in system and accept AOS. No they will not send you an email telling you they accept it.

Your next email will be your IV BILL invoiced. That's when you know about the DS-3032.

But if you want to know call next week sometime.

The only way to know it's been accepted is to call. There is no acceptance email.

Hi all, just a quick question, I recieved a checklist from nvc for i864w to be sent in for my kids, i completed them and sent it with the AOS coversheet from the payment portal instead of the checklist coversheet, would that be a problem?

Thanks,

Nope, not a problem, they're both the same cover sheets!

Dwheels, did you mention something about urs missing for 30 days before? I can't remember if it was u or someone else :( if it was, what did u do? Was it just delayed or actually lost? I'm sorry I don't know what else to do

Yes that was me. I got NOA2 6/29 I called everyday to NVC nothing for days. They said after I hit the 15 BUSINESS days I can send email with my I-797C to nvcreseasrch inquiry.

I did that and of course about 48 hours later they said "we don't have it". No suggestion nothing. I called they said why not call USCIS maybe they still have.

On 7/28 called USCIS (CSC) and asked for a tier 2 supervisor and she immediately was like "well your case is still here. Did you want it sent to NVC". So she typed a service request to immediately release my case and send to NVC. That was a friday. It arrive 7/30 at NVC.

You need to talk to a Tier 2 supervisor at USCIS to locate your file. You are past the 30 days required right? they need to be giving you some answers.

thanks for the reply, today is the 27th day...Hubby is the USC so he has to call USCIS, as a matter of fact we just called together (conference call) but we got a really B****Y CSR on the line and she wouldn't transfer our call because she said it's only been 27 days and it takes them 30 days to get everything together and send it, I never had a problem with them transferring my call but this one wouldn't...I'm getting so many different answers here, one ISO told me they can't give us that information, another one told me it takes 90 days, another says 30 days..I'm going out of my mind, and my stupid lawyer says wait till the 30 days and then she will EMAIL them not even a phone call cause the stupid clerk says email gets a better attention!!! how stupid is she?!! ughhh I'm so mad at everybody! lol I sent another email to NVCResearch! and to USCIS.

when you called you just called the 1-800-375-5283 number right??
