Yes, Saylin!!! (<----- LOL) That's basically how I feel right now!!! I've been working this immigration journey for almost a year and a half and I'm just sooo glad that MY part is almost over with!!! (well, for the boys, anyway! Hubby, that's another story!) Anyway, I have officially done my part! Now it's time for the boys to do theirs!

I'm so grateful for this website because most know the emotional/stressful time we go through! If I were to tell a friend (or even my husband who really doesn't understand the ins and outs of this process) it's just not the same. They aren't going to be excited for me to hear that my bills show that they were paid, yaknow?!?! I've never been so happy to spend $545 in my life!

I know exactly how you feel! It's just not the same talking about immigration with other people that have no idea how tough this process is. Most people just assume if you marry a USC, you automatically become a USC too. I can't remember how many times I've had to explain people that no, I'm not a US citizen, that it took almost a year to get a visa, and that it wasn't cheap to get here. That's why I keep my immigration talk here on VJ.

Saylin,

the Paris Embassy sent my wife an email saying we are in further AP and that they want, if any. all documents to any criminal proceedings in all countries.

12 years ago in Romania, as a Manager my wife fired an employee. This employee tried to sue my wife for money many times in Romania with no success. AND this employee notified the US embassy in Romania 3 years ago not to give my wife any type of Visa, also with no success because my wife got a tourist visa after the embassy asked about this employee that my wife fired.

So they must now have a false Red Flag I assume, that we can clear given time and money because my wife has to get documents and translations, etc..... She may even have to fly to Romania.

this is a joke because her Police Record In Romania shows she has absolutely no criminal record.

she is a Medical Doctor that has never been arrested or brought up on Criminal charges her whole life!

She doesn't even drink or use any drugs.

Well, at least you know WHY now. I'm hoping it doesn't take long though to gather documents and submit them. Good luck.

Called NVC, the lady told me to scan the approval notice and email it for them to do a research :( I'm freaking out right now, what if it's lost somewhere? :(

anyone that has ever done this, how long does it take for them to do the reaserach and get back to you??

ps, can I just take a pic of it and attach it to the email instead of scanning it?

If it's lost somewhere, then it's better for you to initiate the process of finding it than to sit on your hands and panic.

You're better off scanning it if possible. Try going to a local copy shop, or talk a friend into scanning it for you. Save the picture as a PDF if you can because that gives the highest possibility that it will be received properly at the destination.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

I was hoping taking a picture of it would be enough as husband doesn't have a scanner at home, and by the time he gets off work everything will be closed :(

I've been having a bad feeling about this, but they kept telling me I have to wait till the 15th business day, ughhhh why meeee!!! :(

Pictures of documents are really hard to read. Scanning is the way to go. No way for him to scan it at work? Leave early enough to hit an Office Max in the morning? The most important thing is to NOT PANIC. I know, easier said than done!

Stupid NVC and their stupid "15 business days" :bonk:

ok just had a case update my I-129F for k3 has been approved today, I guess now I have 2 things to worry about, if NVC gets this one before I-130 they will process this one right?? with I-130 taking this long to get there...

after poking around the internet though, I did come accross some ppl that had their case sent to a local office after approval instead of NVC and finally after reserach they were able to locate the item and redirected to NVC, my I-129F was transferred to a local office and approved today, is there a chance that they might have sent my I-130 to that office after being approved by NBC? since my I-129F was already there? I don't know what to make out of this :(
