I cut that out because I already know it. Where my confusion was was petitioner documents, and bona fide documents. Some places said to send originals of EVERYTHING you sent to USCIS before, meaning those too. From what I understand, it is not needed. All that is needed is the beneficiary originals+photocopies, and the AOS stuff.

From eventhing I've understood, original petitioners documents are not needed.

Since they allow you to send your passport copies in place of BC, I think that it's not needed.

As, I would have to send my passport since I don't have my BC and I have no intention of doing that =]

I was approved on dec 28th according to the uscis website, but still haven't received hard copy of noa2. Is that normal?

Apply for their visa? Who tells them this? The USCIS,the NVC or the embassy? Sorry, I'm confused.

not sure about this because I was not aware of this ahead of time.

the fact is:

AP here on VJ means in most cases: Further Administrating Processing

Everybody gets AP no mater what until the Visa gets issued. this is a fact.

even if it's only one day.

another way of saying Further AP, at least here on VJ would be: Additional Administration Processing

DOS tells me they don't see anything that would indicate that I am in any kind of Further AP but that only the Paris Embassy know this for sure, unless that Embassy has a request for more documents after the interview.

Hey to change your address do I just do the AR-11 with USCIS? Is it all online or I need to mail the hardcopy.

Since you're currently at the NVC process, the only place you need to update your address is with NVC. No need to deal with USCIS, they'll be updated through the grape-vine later on.

The AR-11 is only used for the beneficiary once they arrive in the US after endorsing their visa.

Do NOT send original documents UNLESS it specifically says to do so. If USCIS can lose an entire file, as in our case, they can lose individual documents.

And yes, they will take your passport as proof as U.S. Citizenship and you don't have to send in your Birth Certificate. (I never did)

BUT at NVC stage the beneficiary will have to send a copy of their LONG form Birth Certificate.

They can be copies. Bring the originals to the interview though in case they want to see them.

So do I just call them? i didn't know at the time to put new address on DS-230 wasn't sure of the move. Now its happening. Man Life.

You can call or email them. I had to call NVC and update my husband's address as he moved a few days before our case complete. Or maybe it was after our case complete... can't remember Either way, we were still at NVC.

Make sure you bring an updated I-864 and DS-230 to the interview with the new address.

IV bill invoiced and paid today. Will send packet tomorrow! I am so thankful that I am almost through with my part of this whole process!!!
