Hi VJs,

What is the process for following case:

My Mother gained her permanent resident through U.S. citizen Son now she want to apply(I-130) for her married daughter so that she could come here in USA.

What is the right process for this case? does she has to wait when she become US citizen? or she can apply while on LPR? which one takes short time and how long does it take? Thank you very much.

Only USC can file for a married child. If you're a sibling and USC you can file for your sister now. 10-12 years wait in either case so you may as well start her petition and get her in line for visa number.

Moving to Bringing Family Members of USCs.

ditto, only USC can file for married children, once she becomes a USC she can file for her, but it will take around 10 years.

it is best for her USC brother to file for her, around 12 years
