Hello. I am a born US citizen currently getting ready to file my I-129F petition for my love (QueenOfBlades on this forum). I have a question maybe someone can answer for me. My situation is that on my birth certificate, it lists my biological mother and unknown father. This birth certificate worked for my passport I obtained back in July, so I am hoping it will work for the Visa. But the main question I want to know is on my I-129F form, where it says to enter my family information (Mother, Father name etc.) should I put down the same information on my birth certificate? It may sound like common sense, but the thing is that I never lived with my biological mother and my aunt and uncle have always taken care of me since I was a newborn and have always considered them my mother and father and on all documents during my lifetime I've always filled them in as my mother and father. I filled in the passport information using them as my mother/father as well. This petition is very important to me and my love though so I want to make sure I do what's best.

Listen to the previous post to have adoption pApers because years later after becoming citizen, and you want to petition for them, you'll be asked to do a DNA. So just make it clear that these are your Guardians and not your biological parents. Good luck to you.
