PS: Our case was converted from F2A to IR/1 in Dec 2012, so, although our case was completed at NVC in June 2011, I will go with Dec 2012.

My husband called the NVC yesterday and all they said they could tell him is that an appointment is being scheduled but they cant say when it will be. All they said they could say is that we wont get a January appointment (we gathered that though). This is the worst wait so far

My case was closed on dec 12,no news yet.but I hope I will get it soon,since they say the Ciudad Juarez embassy is faster than most embassy is that true?

It is an excruciating wait! I guess our best bet is to wait until monday in the hopes that a date will come sooner and if not then start panicking... i also called dos and nothing! Checked this new case status update website and nothing about interview date

I really can't help but notice that ALL of us that are still waiting have IR1-CR1 visa applications. What's up with that??? Nobody is waiting for fiance visa interviews?

Finance visa or K1 interviews are not scheduled by the NVC. In most cases those interviews are scheduled by the consulate. They pass through the NVC very fast and pay their fees at the interview.

now it's 2 months that our case is complete! and yet nothing about our interview appointment! I'm really frustrated! I've called NVC like 20 times, and all they have, is:

-"it depends on capacity of the embassy!"

-"you and and your wife will be notified the second you appointment is scheduled!"

does anyone have any idea what's really going on?!

You are close my friend. The second FULL week of the month. We had a little bit of December and January mixed together in the beginning of the month.
