In my case I don't need no waiver whatsoever.but I've been researching usually everyone needs one.how do I know if I need one?

My appointment is coming up & I really wanna leave as soon as possible.if I get accepted I just need to wait for my visa at the DHL right?

Hi guys,

I was hoping that you would be so kind as to help me a bit. I initially filed as a LPR so my case was complete back in may 2012. I became US citizen and my case was upgraded to IR1 on January 14, so I guess it is considered complete since Jan 14, 2013. I called NVC and they told me that Feb scheduling was over. Now our consulate is in Armenia, so it is not too busy, do you guys think we have a good chance of having an interview in March? also, a very nice lady at NVC said I should continue calling them every week to see if there might be any openings. Now I have noticed that many of you call DOS? should I call them instead of NVC?

any information from those who have been dealing with this is much appreciated. We have been married for more than 2 years now, and are together for 10 years, so you can imagine my excitement and nervousness in awaiting for the last steps :)

Thank you and good luck to all!!!

also go to this website to see what it says about your case (though most times it just posts generic info):

Thank you. The website always says Processing at NVC, and I will be calling DOS and NVC weekly....just wnat to know my interview date :( Thanks again!!!

More likely you are looking at the usual interview assignments come about second week in February. Depending on availability and where you are in the queue u might get a march interview.

All you can do is call. And don't depend on that website. All it ever says usually is processing at NVC.

When you called NVC what date did they say you had Case Complete? Don't assume you have it.

My case was complete on May 18, 2012 but I filed as LPR. Our cases was upgaded to IR1 on Jan 14, 2013 so I am not sure how it works as far as complete date. Hopefully it's on March's list.

Thanks for the threads. They are helpful.

You are welcome my pleasure. It was started by Dana and Divine back in September.

Just love how we support and cheer one another. We are like a bunch of parents and aunties and uncles and grandparents outside the labor rooms waiting for the word.

Like as we keep it going its a great place for people with that "how long will I have to wait for interview" to maybe get an idea.
