Nice to know she was smiling and seemed at ease during the arraignment. She must not understand that her actions led to the deaths of the firefighters. I'm glad the judge ordered a mental health evaluation, she needs it.

Stupid is not sexy!

Why yes James, I give them all IQ test first before I deem them hot or not. No guy wants to sleep with a chick that has a low IQ.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

It may be that some guys are put off by chicks with higher IQ's than their own! I guess I was only speaking for myself there.

What do you think her IQ is James?

So change the law. The death of these two firefighters is directly related to the criminal actions of this woman. She ought to be held accountable for these deaths. Or just lengthen the sentence for straw purchases of firearms. Make it count so that you can do it only once because you'll spend the rest of your days where you can't purchase firearms.

Seems there's a lot of law changing your wanting.

If they can set an example with this case and find a way to charge/convict her of accessory, it might make people think twice before that "straw" purchase. Two firefighter deaths directly related to her purchase of a firearm. She needs to pay for it.

There's no way to make something like this accessory to murder. The implications of that would be way too broad in other cases. An accessory to murder has to have knowledge of the crime.

If they're going to change a law, I would rather see the straw purchase law itself changed. Make it that if a crime is committed by the recipient of a straw purchase, the penalty for the person convicted of making the straw purchase becomes more severe.

That would be more akin to a criminal negligence charge than accessory to murder, which is probably a better fit.

I doubt they will make an example out of her if they refuse to hold anyone accountable for Fast and Furious. It seems to me that both cases are similar in principle so if they burn her they need to burn someones butt for supplying Mexican drug cartels,

That's a tough one. I mean it looks a little big boned but it looks like a chick. I'd hate to find out it was a dude after the party got started.

Yeah considering that the weapons were purchased 2 years ago, I agree. I just hope that they throw the book at her. I guess anger can cloud ones judgement when it comes to wanting justice. People are going to want to blame someone and she is the only remaining link to the criminal himself.
