i called the USCIS hotline and they informed me that CSC is behind and i should hear something within 9 days

Yeah, I called yesterday and they said they're still working on July 16th, the same date they told me when I called on the 20th. The "outside of normal processing time" definition is kinda misleading because although my petition is just now over 5 months old (the processing time listed on their website), it's not technically because they're working on 7/16...which is what they're using to measure 5 months, not FIVE.ACTUAL.MONTHS...ugh. Sorry, had to vent. Hopefully soon we'll hear something. I was told to call back on the 4th.

the worst part of this is i work for department of homeland security-ICE and i cant get anything done haha
