Ted Bundy? How many people did Ted Bundy kill with his hands and feet in any one attack? I differentiate between someone killing a dozen people in as many months or years or someone doing that deed in as many or fewer minutes. Maybe I should have used the term "massacre" rather than "mass murder" but you know of course what I was talking about. You just felt it was a good idea to come up with Ted Bundy for whatever reason.

Wait, let me guess. You will now list all the reasons Vermont has low crime, NONE of them will address the fact that ALL Vermonters can be armed and the only ones frightended by that are criminals. Su and Marvin will say it is because of some racial issue, not enough of whatever minority group he blames for crime today (minorities can be armed in Vermont also) James will say it is because the access to skiing reduces stress levels among the general population and results in reduced mental health issues, Teddy will say it is because we are all wealthy in Vermont, someone else will say it is because of the Magic Unicorns (Don't you miss "Rob"?) and after all that, telling us guns have nothing to do with low crime in a state where everyone can be armed (even Canadians!)...

the same people will call for more gun laws as a "solution".

THAT is the definition of "insanity"

A little bit higher (more dangerous) than the average throughout all of Western Europe.

Lowest in the US is Hawaii with 1.2.....Vermont/New Hampshire/Rhode Island tied for 2nd lowest with 1.3

I've got relatives in Vermont,an Aunt & Uncle in Woodstock to be exact. Drive right over Quechee Gorge to get there, beautiful as can be. Done some target shooting right in his back yard. I've been to Vermont probably a hundred times in my lifetime. Been fairly close to where you're at when I was younger, skiing Jay Peak. I know that not everyone is rich in Vermont, in fact it's more the opposite.

I'd say a lot of the low crime rate in Vermont has a lot to due with the population of the state. Vermont has less than a million people, one of the least populated states in the country. There are a few exceptions like Alaska, which has a very high crime rate for it's population, but for the most part crime rates increase and decrease with popultaion. There's a lot to be said for space.

So 30 people killed over a period of a week or two in Chicago, one at a time is less tragic than 30 people killed at once. Not sure the logic of that but ok

Good grief you are a tool.

You really don't understand how saying you are for banning all assault weapons, semi-automatic weapons, and automatic weapons in once sentence, and then saying you are ok with rifles, shotguns and and everyday handguns is two diffrent postions on the same subject.

Banning all assault and semi automatic weapons eliminates Most rifles, shotguns and handguns. You do realize that don't you.
