Merry Christmas to all VJ members and the guest. So my interview went well on December 21,2012 and I was approved. So long do they take to send it via dhl. Thx

Congrats on the approval. It can take anywhere between 5 days to 3+ weeks. No rhyme or reason why some are longer than the others. Just keep watching the site!

I have been waiting since the 17th watching dhl website, entering the tracking number.....it says shipment shipped, that just means they got the case number information from the embassy. according to dhl in jamaica i am waiting to see it say shipment delivered. my kids couldn't make it here before christmas. but hopefully after boxing day the embassy will be up and running and remember that me and my kids are still here, waiting. USCIS received my applications for them January 2012. Now I am waiting on dhl to have their visa ready and hope and pray there are no errors, like their name spelled wrong. Waiting to buy plain tickets til i know for sure the name was spelled right.

My fiance was approved on Monday, 11/05/12. The DHL package was picked up from the US Embassy by DHL on the next day on Tuesday, 11/06/12 but did not arrive in Montego Bay until Thursday, 11/15/12 after 5 PM. So for us it was 9 days from the intervew approval date.

For some reason (probably customs?) the DHL site had a status of "Shipment on hold" for 9 days. The funny things is that the package left Kingston and arrived in Montego Bay within 9 hours, but it took 9 days to get on the plane to Kingston. Interesting...
