What are the rules for the Visa Waiver Program when you want to make several trips to visit? Does it reset after each trip? Or, must you stay out of the USA for as long as you were in it? I just cant imagine being there for 89 days, leaving to go home for one month, and then coming back for 89 days. That cant be possible, is it?

I have read conflicting info and just want to make sure we plan things accordingly. Dont want to abuse the system...but, just want to visit USA as much as possible/permitted.

I understand they very well could turn you away if they think you are trying to move there. That is not the intent at all.

I would love to apply for the B2, but I am so very afraid it would be denied...and then, I hear if that is denied...then the ESTA probably wouldnt be approved.

Thank you for your help!

CBP likes to see more time out of the US than in

If you were to visit for 89 days, leave, then attempt a return trip, you can expect scrutiny. And if you are able to do that, your ties probably are pretty minimal

good luck

PS - remember, if you are denied entry on the VWP you cannot reuse it.
