I-130 been 5 months still nothing

I am starting to get upset and worried.. It's been 5 months since i received an email from USCIS about the acceptance of the application for my mom, when I checked the case it says they received it on July 24 and it has been under initial review since then. I read someones timeline, her parent took 4 mos from NOA2 to Manila embassy interview, while ours has been 5 months already and I still have not heard anything.. no DS form, no payment nothing.. Why is it that others takes sooo fast? I just doesn't know whats going on.

Be patient everyones case is different & Uncle Sam has to check who is coming in, it

will happene soon when its your turn.

The same for us. We have been waiting for 5 mobths and still nothing. Sometimes it seems like evrything's stopped. So frustrating. I read in the internet that some couples (I am a wife of American citizen) had been waiting for 7 months. I am trying to be patient but it's difficult.

is being processed at CSC.. how about yours?

They received my application on July 24... It's been over 5 months now and still no change in update online, also being processed in CSC

Let's just be patient. I guess they slowed down also considering the holidays we had last month. Maybe if you don't hear anything in over 6 months, try calling uscis to follow up. Wont hurt if we'll give it a try. I did it before when I was processing my K1..

Received first notice at USCIS July 24,2012

Approved petition at USCIS and send application at NVC OCT. 03,2012

Paid AOS FEE OCT 23,2012

Received the DS-3032 form from NVC Dec.13,2012 and signed send it BACK in the same day to NVC.

NVC received my signed DS-3032 FORM DEC.17,2012.

and now we are waiting for I-864 package. no response yet from NVC ...hays.....waiting be patient and prayers....GOD WILL MAKE A WAY!!GODBLESS US ALL.
