Received the RFE

So i received my RFE, and much to my frustration, it appears USCIS is even more incompetent than I first thought.

It goes like this:

"A review of the record indicates that the applicant entered the United States with a valid K-1/K-2 nonimmigrant visa" (Congratulations USCIS you got that one right)

"The record shows that over 12 months has elapsed since the applicant was medically examined in conjunction with his/her K-1/K-2 entry"

Funny, I didn't think February of THIS YEAR was 12 months ago.... Because that's exactly when I had my medical done. I have receipts from the doctor and a copy of the U.S department of state, vaccination documentation worksheet, that was forwarded to the embassy by the doctor and I also included a copy of it with my AOS package, all with the date 2ND FEBRUARY 2012.

Terrible start to christmas,

Anyone have any recommendations? As I am definitely not planning on forking out a buttload of money for another medical because of their incompetence.

Sorry for the frustration,

Hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Yes, it certainly can be frustrating dealing with huge government bureaucracies.

I am assuming that you submitted a properly completed Form I-693, Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status, along with the rest of your AOS applications? I didn't notice any mention of it with your initial posting.

That information may help in trying to decipher your RFE. Let's try to get to bottom of your mess.

Happy trails on your visa journey.
