How long should I wait?

Hello everybody and merry Christmas!

I had my interview over two weeks ago, the IO said that I was approved, as soon as I sent in the paperwork I was missing at the interview.

We faxed all the evidence 3 days later, to her personal fax.

The IO even called my husband and said I would be approved as soon as she has all the paperwork.

It's been two weeks now and my online status still hasn't changed from the rfe status!

How long should I wait until I have to make an info pass or call the 1800 number?

Could it be that she just forgot to update my status? Do they have to update the online status?

Please help.

They don't have to update the online status- some people's have never been updated.

I believe they have 30/60 days to reply to your RFE.

Call or make an infopass if you want , it can't hurt. At best you will find out what is happening and at worst they will tell you to wait.

Wait till after the holidays- it is very possible they processed it and mail is slow and they never updated it online.

Did she confirm she received all the paperwork?

Yes, she said we were all good

Actually, she received three items the next day and called my husband to confirm that she only needed one more affidavit by Monday and we would be approved.

We sent it Monday morning to her personal fax number.

So she should have received it!

My status went to rfe the same day of the interview and we never got an update afterwards.

If it was me, if I had not heard anything within 30 days from sending the fax I would schedule an Infopass appointment at the local office and appear in person to see what was going on.

She pretty much didn't tell me anything except that my status shows rfe! I knew that, I wanted to know if they received a my paperwork!

I know for a fact that she received everything except one affidavit, because she called the next day and said that she got it!
