I am a power electronics PHD working in a University as a Sr. research associate, and in charge of gov projects. 30+ publications in journal and conference(1st author 18 ). 1 US patent pending. reviewer of 3 conferences, 3 journals(IEEE journals). Serving as a chair of IEEE conferences. Individual citations are

I filed my petition with PP in Aug, got letter of RFE in a week; case approved after I submitted my request doc. USCIS asked me to prove that all my papers are strickly reviewed. I got totally 15 reference letters from different aspects.(however I was using a temp to draft those letters, so they may not be good).I did not include the RFE materials when I went to interview, and they never asked.

The notice I got from the US consulate says that"the consular officer needs to determine the alien fully meets the qualification. The case has been returned for reconsideration and possible revocation"----is that a notice of recommendation of revocation?

Thanks to all!

Some updates:

The returned case reached USCIS on Feb 25, however, there is no update after 2 months. My lawyer called USCIS and was told that the case has been assigned for review. Please anyone can suggest that how long it still need? Thanks.

BTW:it's strange that neither me or my petitioner got any notice every since the case had been returned. I found my case was back to the US through USCIS website. What's going on there?
