Friends,

I am recently divorced so should i put down myself as divorced or single in marital status?

When should anyone define himself or herself as Single Vs. Divorced?

Thanks,

Single is when you have never been married before. Otherwise you are considered divorced.

Also you will need a divorce decree. You can usually obtain a copy at the courthouse in the county in which you filed for your divorce.
