Thank you so much for your response. What is the phone no. that i need to call NVS and What kind of information i need to provide them when i speak with the customer service? i appreciated for your time.....

Hello there! The number to NVC is 603-334-0700. They ask for your USCIS case number. Once you give that, they will tell you when your petition was received and if your case # for nvc is available or not. If not, they will tell you it will take about 10-20 business days to get it. So just keep calling everyday until you get it.

Still no case number (yes, I'm calling NVC!) . I thought that USCIS would be the unsure part as far as processing times are concerned but now it looks like NVC might be as well.

VJ stats estimate 126 days for NVC and then 47 days for Consulate = 5 1/2 months

But when do you start the countdown? After NOA2 or after you actually get an NVC case number?

My petition was received on January 7th also. I've been calling everyday since and I still get the same response. "It takes about 10-20 business days to get the case number". You just never know when it will be given so as annoying as it is, calling everyday is the best. I hope everyone as well as me will get the case number soon. Waiting for the petition to be approved was hard enough. Best of luck to everyone!

We had the "10-20 days" and "15 days" answers. Which is fine but I just never expected that it would take 2 weeks to be received at NVC and that then we could start counting.

I'm now looking at at least 5 "empty" weeks. :(

Friday night the NVC DS-3032 acceptance email came in. Phew! IV bill should be this week!

I emailed it in the evening of January 9th.

As soon as I got a case number I had my husband to email them saying he wanted me to be his agent. I wonder should we send in the ds 3032?
