I understand that it is my choice, and I should wait as long as they want us to wait... I only thought that my case is a real simple one... I work for Uncle Sam and have an active security clearance...

Being a full time (24x7x356) single dad that makes it a lot more than just an emotional need... I'm not sure why did I get myself and my kids into an open-ended situation like this... I should have known better.... But I wasn't thinking straight.

I sometimes want to just breakdown ... But I can't for my kids.... Marry Christmas everyone...

Merry X-mas to you too sweetie.I'm in line waiting and I work for uncle sam and am a U.S veteran. So, I understand how you feel, when you say the case should be a simple one because you have your clearance and it will be when they finally get to it.

Chin up Mark-Ina,before long you will be posting one of thoese "Approved" Posts.Take heart and continue to be strong.God bless.

I really understand that feeling of difficulty in waiting and I have been with my husband for 5 years and married for over 2 years now and we are just getting our NOA2. I am a single mom and I did not have a sponsor so I had to finish my degree and get a higher paying job and that all happened this week along with my NOA2. I even got mom to sponsor me now :D so things are looking up.....I am sharing this so you can see you are not the only one missing your loved ones; I and almost everybody else here understands this feeling...God Bless and Happy Holidays!!

Mark,

I am now 9 months into this process and at this minute setting in Warsaw with an Interview scheduled after two days of problems and now an even bigger one I have no control over so I will add some points to make you aware of that you are so close to this point. First as you or maybe your Fiance will have to travel here to personally to pay the Interview fee there is only one location in all of Watrsaw you can make this payment though they make it sound as though it can be done at any Bank Placowka Banku Pocztowego Branches, the one Branch is listed below and I will post a picture and try to post a map in my profile pictures.

Bank Pocztowy Branches (Placowka Banku Pocztowego)

Polna 11, Swietokrzyska 31/33, 00-950 Warszawa

It is right on the corner of Swietokrzyska and Jasna Street (Lat, Long 52.23587,21.010714) and directly catacorner from the bank is a Kantor or Money Exchange so you can turn your $ into Zloty if you have not done so yet. Now understand this whole section of Swietokryska St is tore up at the moment and you have to walk your way around to get here and this Branch is not like a Bank in our way of thought it is more of a Payment center/Post office type facility. As you walk into the big glass corner door you will see a desk with a guard or two you go past them to the right through the door and immediately enter through the next door to the right with a counter and behind them the windows that face the street, here you will give them the Receipt you printed off with a current date, make sure you have a copy of her picture passport page as you will need info from it for him to fill out the form as well you will need it when you pick up her VIsa. He will then send you directly through the door and Catacorner across the area outside his door to a Counter marked as A (really the furthest one to the left front corner as you walk out. (the only person in this office that speaks english is a guy named Sezam, but as long as you go to the right counter and hand them the paperwork and 768 Zloty they know what to do. You will then take your paperwork back to the gentleman in the first office and he will write your receipt number on the your receipt form, should be 12 numbers in all and read it back to him to verify and make sure you have the correct number. This is the number you will need when you call and schedule your Interview. (Wrote mine down with one extra digit and made it a big problem getting the interview scheduled along with the first embassy staff I spoke to insisting I needed the DS-160 filled out so you can get your application number, but is not needed for the K1 VISA and all 0's are entered but I am sure it would not hurt to fill the DS-160 out if she wants, just make sure she has her profile and UID # from here. https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ApplicantHome

When the interview has been scheduled ask the embassy staff to please copy you in on the Interview Appointment email also and make sure you or her have printed out the page including the Bar Code's to take to the interview.

Well a lot of information, just trying to look at it from the perspective of information that would have made my process easier and more streamlined. (wish I would have known)

Hang in there and keep up the good faith, I also have had very high clearances from my Military, but don't think they help as much as just a good clean record here. If in your heart you know she is the one then it will all be worth it, if anything my life has taught me the hardest things to acquire are always of the most value, worth and respect.

God Bless,

Carl
