GOT THE K1! but....

After what was an incredibly long and tedious process, I finally have my passport with the K1 in my hand. It took us 12 months to complete this (Vermont Service Center), which is 5 months longer than usual.

But the visa has the following remarks on it:

"212(G)(2)(A)

CLASS A OR B REQ. ATTN OF USPHS AT POE"

I did a little research and the first one seems to be a waiver about vaccinations (I had no vacc. records so I'm guessing that's it) so I'm not worried about that.

I didn't see the second one as in its exact form anywhere else though, it looks like people either get an A or a B, or they have a TB (Tuberculosis) remark on it. So what could mine be? I'm not worried about entry to the US but could I have a health problem that they saw on the medical? The guys at the hospital who did my medical had said there was nothing wrong on the check-up.

I wasn't tested for TB though, could that be it?

Did you not get a chest x-ray at your medical? That is the check for TB.

Oh, I got the chest x-ray. So that means something else is wrong?

Perhaps you should contact the clinic and/or the consulate to ask about your medical annotation. Only they would know what showed up on your medical exam. I would but I received the visa today and I'm leaving for the US tomorrow... so this can only mean that there is something wrong with my health?
