Hi fellow Vj'ers.. Hope you can help me with something. I am still waiting for my NOA2. However, while I am waiting I am trying to gather and organize everything we will need for the next step. I know there are some things my fiancee will need to bring with him to the interview. For the proof of ongoing relationship ( emails, skype chats/logs, photos, copies of boarding passes, etc.) I was thinking of putting everything in a binder and label everything. I thought it would make it easier for officer to look at during the interview. My question is, is this ok? Would they mind my fiance bringing a binder with him to his interview? I know he also will need to bring in a copy of the original I-129F package with him. Can I put this in the binder as well or should this be separate? What about the affidavit of support form and supporting documents? I was thinking of putting these in the binder too but in a folder. Is this ok? I guess what i want to know is: what can i put in the binder and what should I leave out?

I put our stuff in a binder for the interview. They probably will not want the I-129F paperwork (unless they lost something) and might just glance at alot of the proof of relationship, the important thing is the I-134-they will definitely want to take that so it needs to be accessible.

Don't use a binder as there will only be a narrow slit under the glass between you and the CO, so everything should be flexible enough to be skidded under. Recommend separate folders instead of handing CO everything in a big stack. You hand him only what he ask for.

I have heard that now embassies also wanting I-864 affidavit of support form in addition to I-134, so take both with you.

I-134 for a K-1. Only a couple consulates have wanted and accepted an I-864 for a K-1. After the petition approval, there are different procedures and requirements for different consulates for the interview, but the majority take only the I-134.
