HELLO ALL...!!

WANT TO FIRST SAY THANK YOU TO ALL THE MEMBERS OF VISA JOURNEY!! THANKS TO THIS SITE I WAS ABLE TO BE PREPARE FOR MY INTERVIEW WICH WAS ON NOVEMBER 14TH 2012.

YES... WE WHERE APPROVED!!

THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT WE DIDNT GET HIS SON MEDICAL BACK ONTIME FOR THE INTERVIEW AND HAD TO GIVE IT IN ON THE 22ND WHEN IT WAS READY FOR PICK UP. OUR CASE HAS BEEN ON ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING DUE TO THIS AND EVERYTIME I CALL ALL THEY HAVE SAID IS THAT THEY ARE STILL WAITTING ON MEDICAL EXAM RESULTS... <-- I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY IF IT WAS GIVING IN ON THE 22ND... ??? YESTERDAY FOR THE FIRST TIME I CALLED AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IT SHOWS THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED THE RESULTS!!! YEIIHHH I GUESS THIS IS A GOOD THING.. BUT MY QUESTION NOW IS.. HOW MUCH LONGER??

TODAY I CALLED AND A NICE LADY TOLD ME THAT MY CASE WAS MOVED TO NON-IMMIGRANT.. WHAT IS THIS?? IS THIS A GOOD THING OR BAD??

SHE SAID JUST TO CALL HER TOMORROW OR MONDAY MORNING.. BUT NEVER REALLY ANSWER MY QUESTION.. IS THIS A GOOD THING OR BAD?? CAN ANYONE ANSWER THIS QUESTION TO ME?? THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!!

yes, thank you.. but is going from administrative processing to the nonimmigrant department a step back or forward.?? is that good or bad??

I see it as a good thing, since you said they already received your son's medical results. But then again, I'm just speculating. Keep calling them for updates. Good luck. :innocent:

call DoS Hotline on Friday morning, inquire for casefile status.

study posts #1 and #7 at Dodi - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/264972-shortcuts-when-checking-for-updates-from-the-nvc-and-dos/

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Congratulations!!! my case has been in ADministrative Process since Oct 9th and nothing yet.. the worse part is that we have never been told why? :(

THANK YOU.. AND IM SORRY TO HEAR THAT.. I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING YOUR CASE AND WAS REALLY AFRAID THAT THE SAME COULD HAD HAPPEN TO ME.. BESIDES ME CALLING EVERYDAY I HAD MY FIANCEE GO BACK TO THE SAME WINDOW WE DROP OFF HIS SONS MEDICAL EXAM AND EXPLAIN THAT WE ALREADY HAVE A WEDDING DATE. THE LADY THAT HELP HIM ACTUALLY FILLED OUT A FORM EXPLAINING HIS CONCERN AND WHEN I CALL DOS IT CAME UP.. SO I GUESS THAT DID HELP THE PROCESS.. IF YOU HAVENT DONE THAT YET.. YOU MIGHT WANT TO TRY THAT OPTION. GOOD LUCK !
