I am freaking out now. I can't belive I did that!

Should i try to intercept at the post office?

What happens if I don't can I send the certificate separately?

Will they deny then send the originals back to me?

Does anyone have any advice?!?!?! Thanks in advance.

You will get an RFE. Wait until you get the hard copy then respond to that. This will set you back about two weeks to two months.

Do not attempt to send the cert by itself. It will not connect with the file.

correct it will not meet up wit your file, wait until they send you a RFE letter request for more evidence,or what ever they want, send it back to them asap in the same envelope an address,

i say wait for the RFE.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks everyone! It doesn't seem to be a big issue then. It just adds time to the process and the Chicago facility doesn't reject the I130 if all the supporting docs haven't been submitted. That was what had me worried the most... that if they would grab my docs and keep them, but reject the I130 on a an incomplete document requirement.

I called the post office you can also do a return to sender intercept for about $11. Well I learned something in all of this at least :)

That is confusing so just to understand... I send photocopies of my marriage certificate and birth certificate and then later the NVC will request me to send the original?

I was rereading the I130 instructions and I do see now it says copies of the documents and not originals. I did intercept the parcel so I will review again and just use copies this time.

Yup. You'll only need originals at NVC and the interview (good to have on hand just in case of unexpected emergencies).

Good luck! :)
