Alien Registration Number

Who fills out the G-325a form, me or my fiancee? What is a Alien Registration Number and where can I find his? Need this ASAP to finish the G-325a.

You fill one out for yourself and one for your finacee. If you are not a USC by birth then you have an alien number from your process of becoming a USC. Your fiancee will be issued an alien registration number when your petion is approved (it is usually above the beneficiary's name).

Good luck,

Dave

Welcome to the forum.

Take the time to review the VJ Step-by-step K-1 visa guide, accessible through the "Guides" button, which may be found at the top of the forum page. There you will find the answers to your questions and many more that you haven't even thought of yet.

BTW: Your initial filing location will likely be the Lewisville, TX lockbox location, not the Texas Service Center.

EDIT: You should also check out the "Example Forms" button, also at the top of the forum page.

Happy trails on your visa journey.

Alien Registration Number (“A” Number) or Alien Number

A unique seven-, eight- or nine-digit number assigned to a noncitizen at the time his or her A-file is created. The 9-digit U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services number listed on the front of Permanent Resident Cards (Form I-551) issued after May 10, 2010, is the same as the Alien Registration Number. The A-number can also be found on the back of these Permanent Resident

I read that and am confused. I don't know what an A number is, dont know how to get one and dont know what an A-file is. So none of this is helpful.

It's a number that they assign to people immigrating to the US. If you were born in the US, you do not have one. If your fiance has never applied to immigrate to the US before, (s)he does not have one. Put none in the field.
