This has happened in the past, a few times I've read of. Once while we were waiting, and stuck in AP at NVC on our K1. Word then was that they were training new adjudicators, picked a fairly straightforward one for training purposes, and someone's lucky number came up. Not in any way an administrative error.

Congratulations :thumbs:

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

It's not a negative comment, it's a simple truth: you were lucky; no one begrudges you your approval, but think of the people who have been waiting for months with no end in sight, where is their approval? Elevating you above them due to an administrative mistake is disingenuous to those waiting.

It certainly isn't your fault, but spare a thought for those people.

I agree COMPLETELY!!! ......I think it is wonderful that their dreams are taking place, much faster than all of us. But it does hurt, to know I have waited for so long too, and someone else gets an approval almost instantly. I think we have all spent numerous hours in making our fiance packet, the very best that it can be. And in under normal circumstance, those documents aren't even viewed for months after the NOA1. So, there was alot of luck in getting a 14 day approval, but I also believe there was a mistake somewhere in the process for that to happen. Humans do make mistakes and maybe the file was put in a wrong box, to be processed......Anyways, Congrats to the petitioner!!! I know you must be thrilled!!! Good luck in your journey :)

Yes, that would seem very logical, and makes sense if that is/was the case.

Congrats!!! :dance::dance::dance:

Now I don't know what to expect. I will have to keep watching the trends as I get closer to filing. I really am expecting mine to take 6 months or more, which is fine, because that fits my timeline with changing my job perfectly as far as the I-134 goes...
