Hello,

I know it's too early to do this but I am on a semestral break so....

I'm starting to do my paperwork for naturalization. I gained my LPR thru marriage to a US citizen. I am going towards my 3rd year of continous stay as LPR.

The question on part 7 of N-400 confused me asking

A. How many total days did you spend outside the United States duing the past five years?

Shall I put the # of days( withing that 5 year window) I was still in the Philippines prior to entering the USA as LPR?

I may sound an idiot but I just want to be sure.

B. How many trips of 24 hours or more that you have taken outside of the United States during the past five years?

????????

If you apply based on marriage to a US citizen read all questions about trips, work, addresses etc. as last 3 years and not 5 years.

thank you

Just the days you have spent outside the US after you activated your visa upon entering the first time.
