My fiance said that on the report about his medical there was a list of diseases, and the only one that was checked was varicella meaning that he has it or does it mean that they give him that vaccination shot and they checked that box. IM still waiting for him to scan me the result so i can see it with my eyes if he is correct. Can this cause a denial for us. Im so worry , and also it stated that on june 13, 2013 he should get a vaccination again on that date omg does this mean we are not going to be able to make any plan until he is free from this chicken pox.. PLS anyone can help me im going crazy...:(

It probably means he has already had it. Varicella is Chicken Pox and most adults had it when they were children. Is he currently breaking out with a Chicken Pox rash? They take an oral report of having at as proof enough. If he hasn't had it, he'll need the vaccine. All very simple and nothing to worry about.

Thanks, your answer gave me a little relief but still would this be a reason for denial or not thankss....

No? Either he's had it in childhood (which was probably the box they marked off) or he'll need the vaccine. Either way, they aren't going to deny him.

I have another question, when they put down that he has to have another vaccination by June 13 2013, does this mean if he get approve he cant travel until he get the other vaccine or what?? Should we go back to the doctor and talk to him because we both are confuse and stupid about this??

Don't worry about the Varicella, he can get the vaccine, I'm a Nurse so don't bother yourself and your second question she can come here to complete his other immunization here ok. My fiancee got her visa and she will come here to get all the remaining vaccination. Focus on the interview and pray for success, I will put you guys in my prayer too. Wish you guys GOOD LUCK.

Varicella is chicken pox. If it says "History of Varicella" it means he had chicken pox and does not need the vaccine.

Sounds like he will be needing a lot of other vaccines before he gets his green card AND a sign off from a Civil Surgeon. It will NOT affect the issuance of a K-1 visa but it WILL affect him getting a green card. Start contacting Civil Surpgeons in your area and save your nickles and dimes to pay for it. He will need all necessary vaccines and an I-693 vaccine supplement from a Civil Surgeon, SOME civli surgeons will not sign off on this unless he also pays for another full medical exam.

Check around.
