Maybe we can amend Obamacare to require everyone to purchase "victim insurance" also. It could pay the medical/mental service charges for victims that survive a violent crime or pay survivor benefits to dependents and pay all burial expenses for the deceased victim.The policy rates can be determined by crime statistics reported in the individuals area of residence + and their workplace location also. Children of school-age will also need to be included on the parents policy.

I thought Right Wingers were all about personal responsibility, like if my teenaged son sprayed graffiti all over your garage I would pay for the damages? Why should the damage done by the misuse of guns be exempt? And why would you instead want everyone else to shoulder the costs of that damage? That's not personal responsibility. That's living off of other people's dimes.

Wasn't really an analogy. I was just testing something. I wondered if the TOS changed. There seems to be a trend on here of replacing "democrat" with pejorative terms. Anyway, for some reason, it seems to get a lot more people riled up when you do that with "republican".

As far as the firearm debates, I'm done. Congress isn't able to compromise any more than we are. I don't expect anything to happen (with anything) until this current group is out of there.
