I just want to ask about my situation.

My US fiance and I will apply for a K1 visa together w/ my daughter(K2). I am in Canada, my daughter in the Philippines. We plan to get married first in the US. Can I already apply for change of status even if my daughter is still in the Philippines holding a K2 visa? Also, am I allowed to get travel outside US to get her or whats the best thing to do? Needs advise please. . thank you.. :)

I think you have a lot of things twisted.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

When did you file the petitions for you and your daughter? Do you already have your corresponding visas? You also need to give more info and fill in your timeline so people can give you sound advises.

Once you have your K1 visa and entered US, you have 90 days to marry your fiance. You have to apply for change of status, employment card and advance parole. The Advace Parole (AP) is what you need to travel back to the Philippines to get your daughter. It usually takes 3 months to get this.

Thanks for the replies!

Our petiton just got approved. My problem is my daughter in the Philippines and I am here in Canada. Ill be going to the US first and get married. (That is our plan) Then apply for change of stat and advanced parole to get her in the Philippines. (are we on the right track?)

How about my daughter's medical and interview in the Philippines.?

Has anyone has an experience like me? Needs advice please.. Thank you!
