Hello,

I thought I read somewhere, that after NVC sends file to Juarez. Consulate then sends fiance/visa packet to fiance via DHL and she would get notice at her house to pick up packet at DHL. I checked the FAQs, guides, and did a search and found nothing. Am I wrong, is it instead mailed directly to her via postal mail?

There is no 'packet' that you would need to pick up from DHL. They only send a letter. I believe you are confused with the fact that once approved for the visa, it will be delivered via DHL.

Thank you Jay Kay. You are right. From what I recall, I read that info about a year ago when I first looked into the visa process and I must have confused it with the Visa delivery. Also explains why I couldn't find the info. It was the USCIS' "packetk1may.pdf" that made it seem like they would mail an actual packet. Since Mexico has a reliably unreliable mail system, I was concerned. Your link was helpful.

Glad to help. 'packetk1may.pdf' is just the name of the instructions document. It has all the most important info you need to follow.
