I make around 69000 last year and this year maybe will be over 55000. i am a single dad with two kids. Get form to apply for KI fiance visa, when approved U have 90 days to get married. In the meantime gather all proofs of a bonified/on-going relationship,

like calls & chatlogs, picture of you together and with friends/families when U visit her, she should know bout your kids, past crimes (if any) monies U owe,

where U work, some of your friends names etc, U will need original birth, marriages and divorce decrees , and must have seen her in person the last 2 yrs

good luck on your hourney

Hi plakoplako,

The I-129F fiance(e) visa process is not that difficult but some people are not comfortable dealing with alot of paperwork. If you are one of those, then you will be best served to hire a good immigration attorney. ofcourse, that will cost you money but at least you will have the peace of mind knowing that you got someone with the requisite expertise to handle your petition. On the other hand, If you choose to do it yourself, the links below will be the place to start:

OOps also your tax returns, because U will need to do I 864 , showing you can afford her and your kids

3 YEARS OF INCOME TAXES AND EMPLOYMENT LETTER.YOU DON'T NEED MONEY IN THE BANK UNLESS YOU WERE SHORT ON YOUR YEARLY INCOME. K1 USES THE I-134A, YOU WILL USE THE 864 WHEN YOU ADJUST STATUS.

By action is one an outcast,

By action is one a noble.

I don't think you have to have tens of thousands of dollars in the bank, however, it will be to your advantage that you can show you are financially stable to suupport your fiancee and your entire family in terms of being above the 125% poverty level and what's stated on the I-134 Affidavit of Support. The more that you can show to support your relationship, the better chance you and your fiancee will have. It also comes down to how well she does on her interview with the U.S. Consulate too.
