Hi, does anyone know how long biometrics can be rescheduled?

My friend is out of the country after having filed for ROC and received a notice for biometrics appt, but for work purposes he needs to be out of the country for a few more months, so:

-If biometrics is rescheduled, can a date be requested, if so, is there a limit on how far in advance it can be?

-How many times can biometrics be rescheduled, and when it is, how far it the appt usually pushed back?

Thanks in advance for your much need help if you have any ideas or suggestions.

edit: this is not government work, so as I understand he doesn't qualify for any other options than to do the biometrics capture in the given location
