Approved in 17 days. Now just to bite nails over christmas/new year waiting for the next bit. The noa2 has my existing A number on it so I wonder if I will keep that one, I was under the impression I would get a new one assigned.

On a good note thanks to mail service it's been almost a week since this was approved so down to within 4 weeks hopefully although I suspect I'm pushing my luck with that hope :)

My husband left to the USA on Thursday in prep for his job starting Jan 7th and has an apartment for us already. I have a job offer in writing as well so I'm hoping we will have no problem with the financial stuff. Will I need an original in ink signed version of my job offer or will a print out be acceptable?

Crossing fingers.

re: the job offer for a Beneficiary - uhm - how does that count, exactly, on the I-864 ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Thanks everyone :)

eh, re reading it I don't think it will.. I was looking at Q24, and the instructions that say you can use the immigrating spouses income if it will continue from the same source after residency is acquired. Which reads like I would have to be working for them at the time of the I-864 submission. Oh well, I'll just include it with my supporting documents at the interview.

Hubby's income will suffice I'm still just nervous as I am an abandoned green card holder, I hope that doesn't get me negative marks.
