Hi guys were new here i just wanted to ask what are the waiting periods for filing i-130 , since its been a month already and we havent received NOA yet from the date of filing it. My husband called USCIS and they told them it usually takes a while longer. this is really making me all anxious since im on my 5th month of pregnancy now and i want to know what are the odds that ill be giving birth here and have to wait again because of my baby's passport. any answers will help thank you !

that's sorta weird - I got my NOA-1 via email and text about 2 days after they received it in October, then postal notification 10 days later.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

**** Moving from K3 to CR-1 Progress Report as OP is asking for the I-130 NOA ****

OP- the K3 is obsolete, you will be wanting a CR-1 spousal visa (or IR-1 if married more than 2 years). NOA usually arrives within 2 weeks. Has your check been cashed yet? Since you are already 5 months pregnant, there is no way you get a visa in time to travel- you are looking at 7+ more months until interview.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

so you mean we can shift and do another visa application instead? my husband is utterly clueless on this one and we just asked for help from a relative about all the papers and everything. we called USCIS but they told us just to wait tho..

you have a I-130 in play? just wait.

don't worry about the I-129F at all.

Here's the free clue:

But you must study, train your husband, la.

You don;t need to shift- the I-130 is used for the CR-1 too.
