Dear All, On Monday I saw on USCIS webpage that we got a RFE. It says my fiance (the US citizen) will receive a letter with instructions to follow. I am not gonna mention the sadness and worries about what could be. Now, we found out we never received a NOA1 in hardcopy. We only received an email with our number and saying we would receive the hardcopy of form I797 which is the NOA1. But we did not. Can someone who also have gotten a RFE from Vermont tell us whether we need to include the hardcopy of the NOA 1 in the answer of the RFE???? we do have our number. I am almost sure I read something about it but I can not find it.

Also, I read something about a blue cover page to be included? Any help is highly appreciated!!!

Thank you in advance!!

You will have to wait to see what the problem is. Review what your submitted VS the guides in VJ and USCISand maybe you will see it.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Call USCIS to send your NOA1 to you you might need it in future, however you don't need it for your RFE. A USCIS cover letter will be sent with the RFE to submit with whatever they ask for in the RFE.

You will need the Receipt number that is on your Form I-797c (NOA1). If you got that from the email, you are good to go. That is what you will need in the future.

When you get your petition approved, you will receive a Form I-797 (NOA2) approval notice. You WILL need that notice later on in the immigration process.

Wait for the official RFE notice, furnish the information requested, comply with the instructions and follow the directions. Hopefully it won't delay your petition processing too much.

Happy trails on your visa journey.

Good luck. I'm a little bit ahead of you since I got my RFE letter already, but I can sympathize/empathize with you on the disappointment.

Thank you! Now I am confussed: On Monday USCIS page said they sent the letter on MOnday (Dec 17). On Wed they changed it and said the letter was sent on Wed 19!!! My fiance called and the recorded message said we have to wait the letter without any further details. Is that possible the 2 dates means TWO RFE?? Please advice.

The same thing happened to me.

Oh please tell me how was it: Two separated RFEs? How long did it take to arrive at your home counting from the last update in the webpage? Did you already sent the reply? I am sorry to bother you but any word could bring me some relief.
