Guys this would be a great time to help out fellow VJ'ers to ease anxiety. .for sure no one wants to spend another 2 months for culture and end up negative. .that would be a waste of time. .plus there is a blood test for TB already thats more convenient. .anyway hope you could share your thoughts so people like us who are still leaning on towards a clean medical result, will have a lesser worry. .i know its not the end of the world but isnt it nice to share your experiences. .the more details the better![/b} :thumbs: :thumbs:

Hi, I agree with you. I think the best preparation we can do is to keep ourselves healthy by not stressing too much, sleep properly, eating healthy foods and avoid cigarette and wine while the medical exam is approaching.

One thing I'll do next month is to get a lung X-ray. :) I'm not feeling ill, I don't smoke or drink and I do regular exercise; I never had history of lung problem either. But I still want to make sure my lungs are healthy.

I pray all of us can pass these exams and have our visa granted.

God bless everyone! :)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.

Hi! I had primary complex too when i was young. After the medication in every x-ray I will have it says Im already okay and my lungs are clear..

After reading lots of thread about the issue though, Im now looking forward to wait another two months.. better to accept than to expect!

Goodluck to us ^_^

Nothing in this world worth having comes easy.

I too had primary complex when I was young (I think) plus I had broncho-pneumonia when I was 14. But I'm suffering from severe asthma since I was a kid until now. I'm planning to get my self checked for any complications due to that...

Anyway, I heard you can have a GP write a recommendation letter or something for lung xrays and serum test. So you'll know which vaccines you'll be needing. If you can get one earlier the better as most doctors will recommend that you not try to conceive a baby within 4months of getting your vaccines to deter complications on the baby.

Good luck and hope we all pass the medicals. That's the most nerve wracking part of this journey! blush.gif

Hello Everyone

When it comes to medical exam their particular on chest x-ray and those having infectious diseases.Better to have a chest x-ray at St.luke's Medical Center so you can have a baseline data.I did it last month thanks god my lungs is clear.No worries at all for my in coming physical exam.

Stay healthy avoided crowded places,cover your mouth when going out/ridding a jeep and make sure you wont have cough prior to your exam.
