Our NOA2 was approved Sept 20th, 2006. I then gathered all the documents for the I-134 and had it notorized. All paperwork is dated Oct 6, 2006. My fiance's interview is Jan 16, 2007. She has heard from forums that the I-134must be within 3 months. My paperwork will miss that by 10 days! I supplied tax return, many paystubs, letter of employment, signed bank statement, bank statement for savings and checking, House appraisal, Pension amount. This was alot of work and I beleive it to be very complete. I would hate to have to do this all again. Anyone know of a 3 month or less policy?

Should I email the embassy and ask for their policy on the I-134?

Thanks all!

Things like letter from employer and tax returns wont change between now and then, just provide more up to date pay stubs, and perhaps newer statements from the bank, if bank balance was listed on the I-134 form then the I-134 form may need to be re-done.

I believe I found the answer at the top of this forum. Pinned I-134 Questions by Captin Ewok.

If the sponsor is well established in business, he or she may submit a rating from a recognized business rating organization in lieu of the foregoing. If the sponsor is married, the affidavit should be signed jointly by both husband and wife. Affidavits of support should be of recent date when presented to the consular officer. They are unacceptable if more than one year has elapsed from the date of execution. A sponsor may prefer to forward his or her affidavit of support directly to the consular office where the visa application will be made, in which event the contents will not be divulged to the applicant.

Looks like one year. I think I will email the embassy just to be sure.
