Should I include my fiancee's birth certificate with the 129f

Recommended Posts

If your fiancee is the beneficiary, it is not needed. When you will need it will be during the later stages of the process once the case has been sent to the Embassy for the K-1 visa.

Timeline

It isn't required for the I-129F application, but is needed during the interview. However, if you did want to submit a copy with the application, just make sure that it is translated into the English language. Good luck in your journey!

I am putting together required docs for your initial filling of the 129F and I have a question for you guys. Should I add my fiancee's birth certificate to the 129F application?

No. It is not needed until the foreign fiancee has their interview. It will not need to be translated then. You will not need a translated version until after you are married and filing for AOS. Just follow the guide here and include what is listed: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide
