Common how is he being bully, the poster is trying to say anti gun folks and media just jumped on guns without even before knowing the complete truth.

Now if you don’t wanna know the complete truth and just jump on anti gun wagon, there is no point of discussion.

So we don't have a right to our opinion unless we have your version of 'the complete truth'? Do we need to know what he had for breakfast that day? What Santa forgot to bring when he was 6? The color of his socks? Isn't it enough to know that yet again a deranged person took a high-powered gun and gave vent to his demons with large numbers of innocents paying with their lives? You think something will be revealed that changes this basic truth? Really?

No, what you want to do is yet again deflect the public outrage and once the public begins to forget you can go back to your guns and bullets and NRA BS. Not this time! Enough is enough!

I guess you can move.

Why should I move? Polls consistently show the majority of Americans want more restrictions on guns! What we need are the legislators to stand up to the NRA and their RWNJ supporters. Maybe you should move. I hear Somalia is great for people who love guns!

That's what that whole irrelevant spiel is about - deflecting attention from the fact that ready and easy access to guns has snuffed out 26 innocent lives, 20 among those children the age of my daughter. As a father, I cannot fathom what these families go through. My heart aches for them. This really is a tipping point. It really pissed this father off. I want to just go around and whack the crazies that talk about more guns and guns in schools upside the head. Ignorant bastards. Everyone who represents this address on a local, state and federal level knows how this father feels. As does the President. I will not stand by idly and let the gun nuts jeopardize the life of even one more American, even one more child for their misguided fantasies about guns. Guns cause injury and death. It's what they are designed to do. It's why they exist. We need less of them, not more.

So that's why more and more states are relaxing their gun laws? Ya try that spiel of yours up here and see how far it gets ya, and seeing how you lived in Fairbanks you should know just how far.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Look how the instant reaction of this event was to leap out with gun control, not even waiting to see if this kid had a personality disorder, Aspberger's/Autism, and on drugs.

The dead children are just pawns they shamelessly use for their own agenda, their irrational fear of guns and desire to take them from law-abiding people. They couldn't care less about the kids who were killed. Just objects to attain their ends. Guns were illegal within 1,000 feet of this school and having no teachers or security with arms put them at this risk. But safety isn't their concern. Guns are. You can see it in their irrational fixation on it, to the exclusion of something so fundamental as these drugs.

One of the biggest problems is big pharma, which controls congress and the media through money. Illegal drugs get astonishing amounts of press and policing whereas legal drugs cause far more social problems and receive miniscule attention by comparison. Since so many people are sheep instead of using the brains their mother gave them, the propaganda line is regurgitated with pride, so proud to be a parrot with a functional brain the size of a parakeet.

Here's another picture of those crazy liberals with their devious agendas to strip law abiding citizens of their guns. They are clearly using the media to push their hidden agenda aren't they?

I believe this girl lost her brother. They are among the people that want assault weapon bans. How dare they expect anyone to curb their hobby just because they lost a family member in a massacre. Among those emotional people demanding change are the parents of the school children massacred. Would you like to tell them that guns didn't kill their children? I doubt any of you "gun enthusiasts" would have the cahunas to do that.

32,367 people died in automobile accidents in the USA last year alone. Ban cars.

Doctors and hospitals are required by law to notify the police and other agencies when they see suspected child abuse and or sexual abuse. Given the recent rash of shootings by apparently mentally disturbed people, I think there should be some type of legislation introduced also requiring mental health practitioners and hospitals to notify police and other agencies when a patient is considered to be a risk to their self or the general public, and not just handed a pocket-full of prescriptions and released back into society to simmer a little longer.

Education is what you get from reading the small print. Experience is what you get from not reading it.

Federal privacy laws now prevent most such notifications. It is only when there is a specific threat to particular individuals or groups that allows doctors to do such notifications. Current practice on gun permits must rely on applicants self-identification as mentally ill for that category to prevent approval. How well do you think that works?

If they are listed in the National databank for background checks, it doesn't matter what they put down as their mental state.

The vast majority of those who should qualify as being ineligible to own weapons due to mental illness are never put on that list! It takes a court action to be formally adjudicated to have these rights taken away and that takes money and man-power. Who is going to fund all of that?

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/405253-us-reimburses-pakistan-688-million/ <---- first and second post on that thread. While your at it you can google how much illegals cost this country every year including paying for their education in public schools, hiring bi lingual teachers, medical and welfare for illegals. We have plenty of money to afford security guards at all public schools, more thorough background checks, etc... money to burn and this country is burning it.

If the OP lived in a real border state where Drugs and illegal entry ruled the day by the border, maybe they would have a different perspective. The Government had to post signs stating the desert is a danger zone, really? We cannot protect our borders and the Federal Government has sued us to prevent us form protecting ourselves. I don't want illegals and after all the hoops we all jumped through to get our loved ones here, you should get the picture. When its easier to come here illegally and stay then by legal means there is a problem.

Absolutely you have all the rights to express your opinion but calling a bully when that person is only trying to put some facts out is wrong.

Just coz that person does not agree with, you call them bully is wrong.

If you really care for lives there are lot more lives lost in far common day to day things rather than guns, focus your energy on that.

NRA might not be the best organization but they are there to protect your and other American’s right.
