Happy Sunday! I have the day off, what to do what do to ? I think clean then shop. I need to buy fish. We have a 29 gallon aquarium and only 3 fish. The big lazy platy is not cleaning the bottom good enough, so time to shop for a bottom-feeder.

Anybody want to meet for lunch?

sure jackie, i'll meet ya for lunch ;) (i wish)... actually, i'm really wanting to go for brunch, but i'm meeting my friend for coffee/tea & a bagel instead. I need to go shopping too and I'm just thrilled I'll be sleeping in my own bed tonite w/ just my 2 dogs! I have been housesitting & dogsitting all week and they have worn me out - remind me please if I ever mention wanting a puppy - that I *do not* want a puppy. At least over 1 yr is fine. Too much clean up and hyperactivity....... soooo cute, but sooooooooo much work! :yes:

Today will be a nesting day whenever I can actually get home!

Morning everyone. Yesterday we never even left the house!!! I woke up at ten, which totally is not like me, and got up to find that my back was killing me. It still hurts today but not as much, thankfully. My daughter has a birthday party to go to at the mall at 2 so I'll take my other daughter shopping...to the other mall since the one with the b-day party said "you'll embarass me to death!!!" if I shop in the same mall that she'll be at. :wacko:

I made coffee this morning and while I was eating my egg I asked my oldest to pour me a cup so I wouldn't have to get up again. She said, "mooooom....your coffee looks white..is it a different kind?".

I forgot to put the coffee in the coffee maker. :huh:

This is called a "flare up" of my Lupus-like disease. What fun. I just hope to God that it doesn't happen while I"m traveling 'cause I just know I'll end up on a plane to China or something instead of Egypt. :lol:

I want to go to Chicos at the mall and look for an outfit that I found online last night to travel in. It's made of that non-wrinkly material and online it was perfect except the jacket they didn't have in my size, so I'm hoping maybe the one in the mall will. Here's the outift and if anyone owns this jacket I'll make you an offer!!! :yes:

Normally I don't like their clothes because it looks too old-womanish but this outfit looks cool and it would work out great since I'm leaving on Christmas night and it's pretty "festive", ya know?

I'm home for today. Went out yesterday and bought a lot of plastic to cover my windows and got the two in the living room covered... I need to cover the rest today inshallah. I can already feel a difference in my living room but I'm still feeling a draft at the floor level.. I bought a piece to go on the bottom of my door too so I'm not sure where this other draft is coming in at? :huh:

Last night me and the kids went to meet one of my old friends and her kids for dinner. Everyone had a blast but I didn't get in the bed until almost 2 am :whacko:

i feel your pain :P

yesterday i picked up the leaves in the yard and burned them. had 5 burn piles going at once. i figure i moved and burned off about 400 cubic feet of leaves yesterday. :help:

Some major house cleaning for me today. You know, I wish I owned stock in whatever company puts out Swiffer products. They have saved my life. I just got the swiffer dusters and they're awesome! I use the dust mop, the wet mop, the carpet flick.... I could probably hire a maid though with all the money I spend on this stuff!

Wadi should be home later today with the new car. :dance: I can't wait to take it for a test drive! :D

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

Happy Sunday everyone!! Just got home from doing a little shopping.....Doin a whole lot of nothing today....Makin Mansaf for dinenr tonight, thats about it....

Jenn,.....I feel ya on the Swiffers....we have hardwood thru our whole house, and the floors must be cleaned daily...the swiffers really save me.....

On another note....tomorrow is my first day at the new bank...im excited, and nervous....Coincidentally....my manager and gen manager are both arabian women, so that could be fun....Well wish me luck everyone....hopefully i make a good impression :)

Happy Sunday everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have just been hanging around the house today, had an online date with my sweetie for a couple of hours, then took a nap.....needed that. Yesterday went wedding gown shopping and found the gown of my dreams, saw it in the book first, went to the store, told the lady which one to bring out, tried it on, it fit me like a glove, told her there was no need to bring out anymore that is the one I wanted. She was totally amazed, she was like "are you sure?" asking over and over. I said hey, I am not one of those wishy washy kinda girls you usually get in here, I know what I want. She just smiled and said ok...hehe. It was fun though, seeing the gown on.....loved it :thumbs:
