Hi guys I need your help. I just received this message. Can someone tell me what this means? Is this a RFE? Thanks in advance! ! =)

On May 24, 2013, we transferred this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I'm shaking !!!!!

Looks like they're finally taking the initiative to do something about their ridiculous processing time compared to CSC and transferring our cases to either Texas, Nebraska, or even the NBC (?) to take care of their backlog from the pile of files they had to take on from CSC which made them fall behind.

Let's hope this is a good sign and we will all be approved within the next few weeks!!!

You could not have sent it to CSC .. the lockbox sends your case to the center appointed to your geographical location in the US.

Exactly.. we need to really rally VSC and get them moving. Because this is ridiculous!!!!!ranting33va.gif

lol, at least they're doing something about it now!

How soon is too soon to call CSC about my case and request a Tier 2 operator, we filed January 22nd and got our NOA 2 around the 27th-30th. However, we still do not have NOA 2, so it makes me worry we were lost or is issue processing.

Since you're CSC, be patient, your turn will come soon too. If not, they won't usually do anything until they're out of normal processing times, sooo, you're looking at June 22nd.

Good on you for taking initiative on your case! I called in March to ask a simple question, the dumbass Tier 1 couldn't answer, transferred me to a Tier 2, waited 45 MINUTES, then they were rude as all hell and didn't even give me the time of day and hung up on me after reading an answer off their screen that I could have read on the USCIS website. They need to screen their employees for hiring a bit better ... glad to hear there is SOME progress.

Yeah, I got the e-mail, no text. What sucks now is I don't know if they're going to update the website now because it says to wait to hear a response by MAIL. Oh the torture. CSCers don't know how lucky they are right now.

I've had good luck with my calls to USCIS...very personable and helpful customer service reps. Im waiting now to hear back from them as their call volumes are high..I'm guessing due to these notices. I want to figure out where my case is being transferred to.

Lucky you! Maybe I just got people who sounded like their hated their life and wanted me to hate mine too. lol. Well, good thing is they do mail pretty quickly when something like this happens so I'm sure we'll all hear where we're transferred by next week. God willing, we could all even get an approval letter soon after the transfer letter.

Yeah, I was ready to burst into tears but instead got the sinking feeling. Sigh. I believe all things happen for a reason so let's hope this is a good thing and we don't have to wait much longer to be with our loved ones!
