So why is it that it's possible to post all of this recent info about CSC, but not VSC if you do have that info? They banned all information for any service center. I understand member's frustrations at not being able to see this data, but I personally agree with the VJ admin team on it. Regardless of intention, Anonymous is a well known group that has hacked US government agencies before and has been accused of "terrorism". Given that consulates/government officials are supposed to visit this site, it is simply too risky for the VJ staff to allow said group to publish info that they shouldn't really be in receipt of as it's confidential information. Sure, we can guess WAC/EAC numbers, but that's not terribly different from guessing someone's PIN number or credit card number by changing a digit here or there. Doesn't make it any less confidential.

It’s not confidential but hey, we agreed not to post links to the data and we are not.

Just remember not to complain when you don’t see VSC data, you got what you wanted.

And don’t begrudge those who do want the info and are enjoying its benefits.

I disagree. The fact that we can change numbers on the USCIS website doesn't mean we're entitled to look at other people's information.

You still didn't answer my question about why, if you have access to both service center's data, that you can continue to post information about applications at CSC but not VSC, given that VJ banned all information of any kind. Nor mention the fact that it makes the whole thing look one-sided and like it's about a personal agenda, not about an organization wanting to help petitioners in difficult circumstances with little information.

If your intention is truly to help, you should post both. My personal feelings towards the issue are irrelevant.

Nothing will change until there is reform in USCIS to allow for transparency, honesty and fairness; and that won't happen until it's done through the right channels and addressing the right people.

Like what I always say, I would rather see the data in other sites and not here. because not ALL people appreciates the data. I would love to see the data outside of here.

I cannot understand for a second why more information is ever a bad thing?

Better to be with the devil you know than the devil you don't?

Who cares if there is an agenda? Doesnt mean the numbers Tyler is sharing are innacurate. Not that I expect you to do it for one persons benefit Tyler, but I love stats! Feel free to PM them to me should you ever feel the need to share!

We cannot post links to the data. No links means getting more people involved for VSC is hindered.

Why are you complaining? You’re a VSC filer. You data is not published. You got what you wanted.

Fair enough.

CSC filers, QueenOfBlades whats us to stop giving you information in regards to your petitions. So we will comply and stop giving any info.

Not just that, and I'm not saying they necessarily would, but I'd also be concerned if a consulate did look up a member on VJ (which in the other "Do they google you?" topic, it's been stated they do) and they found posts linking to Anonymous or asking/agreeing with Anonymous sharing confidential government information. I wouldn't want posts here to jeopardize anyone's petition under "good moral character", as Anonymous is well known with the US government. I have nothing against Anonymous, I am indifferent, but like USCIS, I think if they insist on posting this information, it should be balanced and help all filers. If they want to publish it, then yes, it may be better on a site (perhaps their own) and not one focused on US immigration that officials visit.

Also, your posts trying to point the finger at me for not posting information is quite petulant and childish. Frankly, such behaviour makes me wonder if you're part of Anonymous at all or have just heard of them from 4chan. I was not "complaining" either, I was querying why you only publish one half of information and claim that it is to help filers and that it's because USCIS is unfair. Vermont is operating at 6-7 months and California is operating at 4-6. If your complaint is that USCIS is unfair, why focus on one service center and ignore the one with the current longest waiting time? But sure, have a strop and refuse to post the information.

Under federal law confidential information must be secured and there specific methods detailing how and where.

THE INFORMATION IS NOT CONFIDENTIAL! THAT’S WHY YOU CANT SEE THE REASONS FOR RFEs, OR A#’S WHEN CHANGED. READ THE LAW.

But don’t worry. We will give NO ONE information because of you alone. As long as YOU don’t want us to give any information to January filers we won’t.

You alone are the one wanting us to stop giving January filers info. You are pointing the finger at yourself.

Also, another complaint in the Anonymous to USCIS video is about misleading information. The VSC processing time on USCIS website is 5 months and they are not anywhere near 5 months at the minute. So again, more evidence against that complaint - but the focus from "Anonymous" is all on CSC. Durden still hasn't answered why he cannot include VSC in his plight. Anonymous isn't known as being a group that is short of resources.

I think u are the one who act as a childish here. my post does not point at u directly. you are not the only one who does not wants to see the data here. I said "not ALL" i didn't said "only QueenOfBlades" I am not one of the Anonymous and I have no knowledge of programming or whatever they use in getting those data.. this is not the first time that i said "not all appreciates the data". VJ owns this site and I believed that they have the right / say about what they want to do with their site.. i see the data through Tyler's youtube. don't start a fight.

Actually, it was the VJ admin team who said not to post information, not me. It's your decision if you want to listen or not.

I voted in the poll saying I didn't want any information published. Did you listen then? No. You PM'ed me about it. Did you listen then? No. You're simply trying to play a childish game pointing the finger at me blaming me for not posting the information, when in fact, the point I was getting at (which you continually ignore) is ---- WHY CAN YOU NOT POST VERMONT INFORMATION AS WELL IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO IT??----

Why CSC. Because 7 months is more than 5 months. Because CSC backlog is larger than the VSC backlog when we started.

And we had to spend OUR money to collect it and didn’t have enough to collect everything at the time. We also didn’t want to promise to collect VSC data without having more resources.

I was talking to Durden, not you. My first paragraph was to you. I would not assume you're Anonymous as you've nothing on your profile affiliated with Anonymous.

Exactly. 7 months is more than 4 months as well. You said in an earlier post that you have access to the VSC information now, so that would mean it is collected and thus no spending to collect it. So... why can you not share information about January VSC filers?

I know you are concerned with VSC and you see what's happening as "unfair" seeing January filers from CSC who got approved in less than 5 months. If you have concerns with your service center, contact your service center directly. call your congressman and senators or anyone who can help you. don't waste your time complaining about what Anonymous are doing. complain to USCIS and see what they can do with all our data.... CSC data is the original plan of anonymous to publish.. that is because CSC is having a lot of filers who are in blackhole. just so you know if you were not in that thread where Tyler first came out. never in their plan, is to get the VSC data but due to other people's request they are now getting it. I just don't know if they will give it to us.

again, I would still rather see the data out of this site because not ALL people appreciates the data

What do you want? No one having data?

CSC not to have it if VSC don’t? (Talk about childish)

Want VSC data. Tell VJ admin to allow us to post links to the VSC data like we did the CSC data so we can move forward.

VSC is collected. We don’t have people to analyze it.

Stop complaining. You got what you wanted. We agreed to give NOTHING TO ANYONE just like you want. Stop complaining.
