I see that all the info you're providing if for CSC. Maybe they are on hold for a short while to receive all the petitions that they sent VSC a while back. Now that they pretty much caught up they need to let VSC get on track and catch up with their expected.

Keep in mind that VJ views NOA1 and NOA2 dates different than USCIS.

VJ members typically enter the date they RECIVE their NOA, not the date it was granted. This makes VJ data very flawed for viewing immediate status.

Here is an example of why…

Let’s use an example of Bill and Ted, and their excellent USCIS adventure.

Bill lives in San Francisco, CA. and Ted lives in Toledo, OH.

To keep things simple both Bill and Ted paid with certified funds and had properly assembled their packet.

Both Bill and Ted sent there packets on different days. However, because of the USPS and different distances they both arrive at the lockbox at the same time and are forwarded to CSC at the same time.

Both Bill and Ted are granted their NOA1 on May 1st, 2013.

Bill lives in California so he receives his NOA1 on the 3rd and enters that as his NOA1 date.

Ted however lives in Ohio and gets his NOA1 on the 9th and he enters that as his NOA1 date.

As far as USCIS is concerned both Bill and Ted have the same NOA1 date. USCIS is not responsible for how fast the USPS moves for different distances. The only valid date is the date USCIS grants the NOA, not the date you receive the text or the paper notice.

If you think VJ time lines are accurate and that people enter the correct dates, we suggest you look at Igor’s list.

Amina and hashim, and pete and Merci appear to have gained psychic powers that allow them to see into the future. They have NOA2 dates of 2013-06-03, and 2013-05-20.

Tyler, it does look like a large number of approvals came in around 6:30 this morning. Mine was included -- although the email was sent May 18, the notice date on the status is May 17, Friday still. So for whatever reason, it does seem they skipped their usual Friday night update and did it early Saturday morning. I'm sure you'll be running your harvesting again soon, but just wanted to let you know if you don't already! Maybe no need to panic for the "stoppage" you're expecting, quite yet.

Ok, after skipping 2 normal update times USCIS shows a total of 264 reviews for the 17th.

The numbers for January filers did fall to 44 reviews. This is lower than the January reviews since the 10th.

If trends hold true then we should see a gradual decline in January reviews through the 22nd and an increase in reviews throughout the rest of the USCIS backlog over the next week. This is closer to what we had expected to see.

Keep in mind that making a predictive analysis is still a new endeavor based on our data.

Although that's not great news for January filers, it does make sense and seems -- gasp! -- surprisingly fair for CSC. I have to say I'm surprised. (Also completely shocked that I actually got my NOA2 today and can finally start to relax ...)

I wish the best to January and later people, but do sincerely hope that CSC finishes up with Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec people more quickly. Good luck to everyone and I'll stay out of your thread now! :D

I'm a march filer and I have little buisness in this thread, but I'm glad they've started to pick up the pace. I would almost sell my soul for an NOA2 by June 24th.

It’s still too early to give clear analysis but June seems unlikely for March filers.
Based on current trends the critical mass of January filers will still extend into June. Only 42.62% of January filers have been reviewed.
If we were to venture a guess we would say that August is a more realistic time to hope for.
Keep in mind that based on your timeline there are approximately 2400 pending applications between yours and the median of the current queue being worked. Additionally there are still a pending 2866 petitions in the backlog.

I certainly hope so. I don't believe it is in any way fair to send petitions to VSC, zoom 2 months ahead of VSC while VSC filers still wait and cause a backlog with VSC. Catching up is one thing, surpassing and causing an imbalance in another. I think more focus on "unfairness" needs to be directed at Vermont. I know which service center I'd rather have my petition at currently.

Also - I have commented before on the info only being for CSC. Seems very useless to me if the goal is to get USCIS to be fair but only focuses on one service center; the currently much-better-performing service center. Also makes it seem more about serving personal agenda (assuming the info is from a CSC filer). This is one of the reasons I also voted "No" to the information being published at all.

That’s not what is happening. Not sure where that rumor got started.

As we said we have VSC info but considering we are forbidden from releasing it by VJ admin/moderators it is difficult getting help to analyze it.

As long as VJ censors us our hands are somewhat tied.

It is ironic that your being in favor of censorship has fueled the very reason that we cannot give you the information. It’s kind of funny.

You wanted no one to have information if you didn't get any, and as a result we are prevented from giving it to you while we now have the means.

A situation of your own creation?

So why is it that it's possible to post all of this recent info about CSC, but not VSC if you do have that info? They banned all information for any service center. I understand member's frustrations at not being able to see this data, but I personally agree with the VJ admin team on it. Regardless of intention, Anonymous is a well known group that has hacked US government agencies before and has been accused of "terrorism". Given that consulates/government officials are supposed to visit this site, it is simply too risky for the VJ staff to allow said group to publish info that they shouldn't really be in receipt of as it's confidential information. Sure, we can guess WAC/EAC numbers, but that's not terribly different from guessing someone's PIN number or credit card number by changing a digit here or there. Doesn't make it any less confidential.
