Igor’s list will not have much if any activity for CSC I-129F petitions today.

Out of ALL I-129F petitions 2 NOA2s and 4 RFEs have been given so far today!!!

THAT’S FOR ALL PENDING PETITIONS!!!

3 of the 4 REFs were for January filers.

We are trying to find out why all I-129F activity has stopped so abruptly.

Timeline

There have been other Friday nights where the status/database was not updated until 11:45 pm. After watching the dashboard site closely for four weeks now, I'm not too panicked yet -- if it gets to 1 a.m. and there are still no updates, okay, that's bad. But I suspect 10:30 is too early to call it a day for a Friday night. Their usual update time on weekdays seems to be 8-9 pm but Fridays are nearly always later, in my experience. Tyler certainly has been tracking this more closely than me, though ... so perhaps I'm wrong?

Relationship since April 2006

K-1 Visa: I-129F filed November 6, 2012, NOA2 May 17, 2013, Interview and Approval July 24, 2013

POE San Diego, September 13, 2013, Wedding October 25, 2013

AOS filed November 19, 2013, EAD/AP received January 30, 2014, interview and AOS Approval on February 27, 2014.

ROC filed December 3, 2015, NOA1 12/4/15, Biometrics 12/31/15, ROC Approval on June 16, 2016, 10-Year Green Card received June 22, 2016.

N400 filed September 14, 2023, same day acceptance and Biometric Reuse notice, Interview on 2/13/24: Passed and same day oath. ALL DONE WITH USCIS.

No RFE at any stage, thanks to VisaJourney!

Fridays always seemed to be a bit slow too, and some get notifications of approvals on weekends as well. Like Lynkali though Tyler has been watching USCIS closer and has all the numbers, so we could be wrong.

As we said ‘SO FAR’… but indications are that this is the final update for today.

This is the worst CSC activity we have seen in the nearly 11 months of data that we have analyzed.

We are shocked. We pray your right and there will be more later tonight.

We can hope that there is another update pending tonight… but we are not betting on it.

The data still stands with only 2 NOA2s and 4 RFEs for the 17th from CSC for I-129F petitions.

One NOA2 for a filer with a March 18th NOA1.

One NOA2 for a filer with a December 4th NOA1.

3 RFEs for January filers.

1 RFE for an August filer.

As we hinted at previously in another post, we expected a more gradual slowdown starting the 21st to the 28th. This drastic of stoppage in processing was unexpected, and occurred a few days before we expected a slowdown.

Sorry, we were not able to give a better heads up.

All I really want to know is if this known slow down is only going to last for that week, and why? There has to be a reason for such a significant delay?

Strikes me that the only target at the moment at CSC is bringing their averages back into line. They appear to be doing this in a random way due to their total lack of transparency about how applications are processed. It makes you wonder if someone , somewhere has a mathematical model which is telling them how many and at what date to they need to do to achieve this goal. But that would be ascribing a degree of control and organisation which has not been suggested by their actions thus far.

I suspect this stop go approach will continue for a while yet. Hopefully more go than stop.
