Hey all! I mailed my I-129f package on dec 31 2012 I'm pretty much a jan filer :P Anyways I got my NOA1 on jan7 and on my case page I'm at initial review it also says my Alien registration number has changed. Has this happened to you guys?

Yup just happened to me last night... got the Alien registration number update at like 9:30pm... was not expecting that! But I've seen a few other people post on it too...

Just got my hard copy NOA1. Didn't get any A# updates yet. I already had an A# though as I immigrated 17 years ago. This A# is written on the NOA1, so they might not need to update anything.

Finally got her documents. Now I just need to check everything again, like another 100 times.. Lol. I will be sending my package today! Cant wait after stressing so much to become citizen so I can go on to the next step.

Darn. So ill be expecting an RFE for having my fiancées g325 and letter of intent faxed here:( I hope it'll slide but it's pretty obvious , it looks like the forms shrunk by 10% on a normal piece of computer paper. Oh well, hope this doesn't happen to any of u and I hope this doesn't add another 6 months to my current est wait time

I read something on here that they had a new policy of not sending out an RFE for a copy signature of the alien fiance if the fiance is not in the US, but the thread was a few years old so I don't know what their policy on this is now. I guess you can have your fiance send you a signed G325 and a letter of intent via mail just to have it ready in case of an RFE.

In most cases I've seen after receiving an RFE, it held up the application for about a month or so. After they receive the RFE reply, they approve it pretty quickly as long as they like the response.

Good morning,

On January 9th I submitted an I-129F application along with the required documentation.

On January 17th, I received a text and email starting that my application has been accepted and routed to USCIS California Service Center for processing.

On January 22, I received a NOA1 notice date of January 16, and a received date of January 14.

However next to my fiancée's country of birth it says 'unknown.'

Any ideas? How long would the whole process take?
